Hyundai's list of 2022 novelties will not be as long as that of the previous two years, during which the Korean company renewed and expanded its entire range and laid the foundations for the electric range. Here is a list of Hyundai’s Sports Cars 2022.
The Hyundai Veloster would soon be retired. This was the case for many models of this generation, but not that of the Korean subcompact whose popularity has never ceased to increase. It must be said that it was affordable, fun to drive and its performance versions were quite impressive. In fact, that's what we believed until the N version came into play and the latter came to complete the ball by giving Veloster enthusiasts what they had always dreamed of.
The Veloster N offers the most complete standard equipment and is offered with a standard manual transmission. the 2022 Hyundai Veloster N is a performance car. The little sports car from the Korean manufacturer is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 275 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. You can choose between a more traditional 6-speed manual transmission or the highly efficient 8-speed dual-clutch DCT automatic transmission. In either case, the power is sent to the front wheels and I can assure you that this car does not need all-wheel drive, because it manages the torque steer particularly well.
Hyundai's premium
brand, Genesis, will restyle its luxury sedan, the G90. It's a new generation
has been unveiled with its atypical design, its luxurious interior and its
abundance of equipment. The Genesis G90 adopts a style that is both futuristic
and imposing for this second generation. New grille, dual-stage LED headlights,
guilloché logo on the hood at the front, the Genesis G90 goes all out to assert
its status as a luxury car. The design of the car is marked by a parabolic line
drawn from the hood to the rear. On the profile, we notice flush door handles.
Genesis also says they wanted to give the car a dynamic look by accentuating
the wheel arches. At the rear, the trunk sports two LED bars connecting the
lights. A lettering containing the name of the brand is inserted between these
lines.
With its 204-horsepower
engine and exciting drive, the Hyundai i20 N is quite simply one of the best
Hyundai sports cars for 2022. Without being able to count on a large experience
of sports models, Hyundai engineers have succeeded in developing a formidable
small sports car. Comfortable enough for everyday life, the i20 N provides excellent
sensations in dynamic driving.
Its small
1.6-liter turbo engine hits hard and reveals a cheerful sound. The manual
gearbox offers pleasant and quick handling and, above all, the car shows great
agility as soon as you pick up the pace on a small country road.
The 2022 Hyundai
Kona N is unveiled with a 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder 280 hp for 392 Nm. All passing
to the road by the front wheels alone via a robotic dual-clutch and 8-speed
gearbox, also taken from the i30. The 6-speed manual gearbox is not available.
To digest this cavalry, the Kona N receives many amenities. The Kona N is distinguished
by its fender flares, its specific shields to maximize cooling and aerodynamic
efficiency, combined with side skirts, a diffuser and a rear spoiler specific
to the N version which takes up the hollow in its center and the typical
triangular third brake light of the Hyundai N.
Hyundai gives us a first official look at its Elantra N sports sedan. The N suffix evokes the sportiness of the model. Indeed, it is the latest high-performance creation from the Korean brand. In terms of style, the compact sedan will be equipped with a small fixed rear spoiler as well as large-diameter rims to mark its sportiness in the N version. A lowered chassis and a characteristic double exhaust outlet will complete the style of this variant. Korean sportswoman. The Elantra N therefore receives a complete makeover. There are more aggressive fairings, a matte black grille, red accents typical of Korean preparations and 19-inch alloy wheels.
