The Hellcat engine found its way into the majority of Dodge models. Due to the high demand, the production of Hellcat Minivan will continue for a while.
The Chrysler Pacifica is certainly one of the most
innovative minivans in the industry and for several reasons, the main one being
the plug-in hybrid engine. In addition, it is possible to obtain an all-wheel
drive or an outrageously luxurious Pinnacle version. In addition, the layout of
the cabin is one of the friendliest for family life. Chrysler Pacifica took the
liberty of offering us a Minivan version that had to undergo a Hellcat
transformation, the result is really sought after by all fans. The first thing
you notice is the huge air trap on the hood, a key element found on the
majority of Hellcat models.
It would be necessary to succeed in housing the
supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine in a cramped engine compartment, but, above
all, to integrate a transmission shaft to send power to the rear wheels. The
concept of a 797 horsepower Hellcat Redeye minivan would make more than one
salivate, especially with the style of the vehicle which takes up the features
of the Hellcat cars, in particular with its more aggressive front fascia, its
imposing air intake on the hood and black rims. The total power is 260
horsepower and the range is 50 kilometers. So, you can travel 50 kilometers
between refills without consuming a single drop of fuel. For many families,
this means making all the trips during the week without ever consuming gas.
A few years ago, when it was
rumored that Chrysler would bring an all-wheel-drive Pacifica to market, we
knew that the base would have been the hybrid version. Indeed, adding an
electric motor to the rear axle – as Toyota does with all its hybrids – seems
to be a relatively simple solution for obtaining an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Moreover, this
all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid version would have been downright unique on the
market, which would have been a solid selling point.
Instead, Chrysler opted to use the regular Pacifica as a base, relying on a fairly complex three-section driveshaft system to retain the functionality of the folding seats. Forcing to have such a practical vehicle with the technical constraints imposed by all-wheel drive.
The Voyager model offers a
clever mix of space to haul cargo, innovative storage and comfortable seating
for seven passengers. Providing unprecedented flexibility for transporting
passengers and their luggage. The Voyager model has been a mainstay in fleets
for decades, and for 2022 it offers even more essential features.
It should be noted that there will be two versions
available: the basic model Voyager and Voyager SXT. There are many important differences
between the two versions. It is important to note that the Voyager retains the
features of the Pacifica launched in 2017. With a view to modernization and
differentiation, the Pacifica is slightly redesigned for 2022
As for aesthetics, we play the card of simplicity. The
base model comes with hubcaps mounted on 17-inch wheels, while the SXT will be
entitled to rims of the same size. Another distinction, the SXT version comes
with a grille with chrome accents. Also consider that the automatic opening of
the sliding doors is an option only on the SXT.
In the cabin, simplicity invites itself once again. We
find there the spirit of the Pacifica, but more stripped down. For example, the
steering wheel is made of urethane and tri-zone climate control is only
available with the SXT, the base model offering only two zones. There are
several options such as heated seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel in
different accessory groups. Always extremely practical, the interior volumes
are impressive: 915/2 or 478/3 or 979 liters depending on the number of seats
in position.
