On the model side, there is a change among the best-selling vehicles. The Peugeot 208 II, which was the most sold model on the French market for months, has fallen from its throne! It was overtaken at the end of the first half by its biggest rival, the fifth-generation Renault Clio. But just for 21 small registrations: 38,884 against 38,863. Far behind, the third-placed Citroën C3 completes the podium with 24,431 units registered from January to June 2020.
Also noteworthy in this classification are the ascents of the new Peugeot 2008 and Renault Captur, now 4th and 6th, the beautiful 5th place of the Dacia Sandero, and the entry in tenth place of the small Toyota Yaris. Conversely, the Peugeot 3008 II fell back to the 7th while the Peugeot 308 II, still 8th at the end of the first quarter, is downright ejected from the ranking (15,280 registrations).
