The new Opel Vivaro is now well designed, modern, the Vivaro receives modern engines (between 100 and 180 hp) and benefits from a number of equipment such as driving aids and navigation. Motorized in 180 hp with automatic gearbox, it is a success.
Pronounced wheel
arches, underbody protection, robust lines, the Vivaro does not miss elegance,
especially in long lengths. The front end is unique to Opel. The grille and
bumpers in any paintwork underline the deliberate appearance of the bodywork.
Inside, hard
plastics reign supreme, but this is a guarantee of ease of cleaning and
durability. In any case, the cabin is clear and ergonomic.
The right driving
position on a well-designed seat is easy to find behind a two-axis adjustable
steering wheel.
Forward vision is
clear. There are many storage spaces, including in front of the passenger(s)
(two-seater bench convertible into a mobile office).
The gearbox
control is pleasant, but the intelliGrip button (electronic traction management)
is located to the left of the steering wheel. This is the only downside to the
various controls.
Our test vehicle
had many options in addition to the Business Pack equipment which already
includes blind spot monitoring, manual air conditioning, NaviPro multimedia
radio with 7-inch touch screen and front and rear parking assistance.
Among the options, the site pack with increased ground clearance, the tow ball, a 360° camera for parking assistance and the IntelliGrip system which allows you to manage passages in snow, mud, etc.
The 177 hp engine is part of the PSA component bank. This 2-liter
BlueHDi is equipped with Adblue which allows it to comply with the Euro 6d-Temp
standard. This power is necessarily associated with the EAT 8-speed automatic
transmission with paddles on the steering wheel. A composition that produces
good driving pleasure with high torque always available. It gives you a
peaceful drive and appreciable hearing comfort when you drive a lot.
Once properly
installed on board, we appreciate the driving comfort and also the head-up
display of data such as speed and sign recognition. The steering is precise and
the damping of high level. The Vivaro is pleasant to use daily and you can rent
its comfort worthy of a private vehicle.
Opel has managed
an interesting wedding between the rigor of the model and the originality of
the services offered in the Business Pack.
Due to its new
affiliation, almost everything is new on the Vivaro. Its payload increases as
does the flexibility of its offer: more configurations in length, deeper cabin
with fixed or foldable bench seat. In addition, the equipment takes a big leap
forward with many driving assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control,
in the front line. The on-board technologies of the Opel Vivaro include a touch
screen for navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, but also a
head-up display and OpelConnect services. The brand new IntelliGrip system
allows you to grip on all terrains. To conclude, if diesel bores you, know that
a 100% electric version called e-Vivaro is emerging.
If you don't care
if you have the best-known minivan on the market, the Opel Vivaro can be the
best choice. Indeed, it first offers professionals the solution adapted to
their daily needs with configurations corresponding to all trades. Second, the
modularity and payload promise to optimize the energy and time of its owner.
Third, the new Opel Vivaro is dynamic on the road, safe thanks to its chassis
and driving aids, as well as comfortable and pleasant to live with. Add to all
this its plethoric equipment on demand, with the latest technologies available.
