Dodge has made a name for itself with its high-performance cars like the Challenger. The Challenger is a muscle car, and the SRT Hellcat is its high-performance version. The car is famous for its silhouette and performance. The question that arises is: How much is a Hellcat?
Sometimes passion
is the only thing that really keeps a model alive and the Dodge Challenger and
Charger are here to prove it. The two big American cars have been very
successful lately, which makes absolutely no sense given the massive arrival of
new vehicles and especially given the price of gasoline. The only thing that
explains their presence in the market and their level of success is passion.
Dodge offers us
new special editions for its cars. This new special edition will be called
Orange and SRT Black Package and as its name suggests, it emphasizes the black
and orange colors. In fact, the car is rather black with orange accents which
gives it a lot of character in the end.
It will not be
necessary to pay the full price to benefit from this special edition package
since it is available on several versions of the Charger and Challenger
including the GT version. This package also adds 20-inch wheels painted black.
If you opt for the Scat Pack version, you will even be entitled to an orange
392 logo inside the car. We do not yet know the prices of these new special
editions, but we know that the Orange set costs almost 3,000 USD for the GT
version, 1,500 USD for the Scat Pack version. Moreover, it would seem that a
variation of this package is also offered on the 2022 Dodge Durango in its R/T
version. As for the SRT Black package, the latter will be available at a cost
of 695 USD.
If you like raw
horsepower, you might like the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger. The latter
offer many engines, starting with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 305
horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. We then move on to the first in a long
series of V8s with the 5.7-liter HEMI engine that produces 372 horsepower and
400 lb-ft of torque. The 6.4-liter V8 brings us to 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft
of torque. As if that weren't enough, the American manufacturer's cars are also
powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine whose output varies between 717
horsepower and 797 horsepower depending on the version you opt for, figures to
cut the breath.

Safety is also an
important factor in determining the reliability of a car. The Challenger has a
strong body to withstand crashes, and it scored excellent crash test results.
This earned it 5 stars for its safety. In addition, it has a lot of driving
assistance equipment such as electronic stability control, several airbags,
parking sensors, etc.
A low depreciation
rate increases the reliability of a car, because people can improve their cars
by selling the old ones. The Challenger has a low 40% depreciation rate, even
after 5 years. That's extremely good for a sports car.
