It is well noted that the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport has taken over the engines of the 2021 model, you will have the choice between the 1.5 L EcoBoost engine, which offers a power of 181 horsepower and a torque of 190 lb-ft, or even the 2.0L EcoBoost engine that generates 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. This option is paired with an advanced 4×4 transmission with dual-clutch propulsion device, which offers incredible grip and traction, perfect for invading the most hazardous roads.
The 2022 Bronco
Sport is all about the success that awaits it. To keep the attention, Ford has
already unveiled a series of concepts that highlight future possibilities for
accessories. However, in terms of mechanics, there will still be something new
with a hybrid version, and this, from the second year of marketing.
The 2022 Ford Bronco Sport will become an instant classic. Its DNA borrowed from the 1966 Bronco gives it iconic architectural elements. Its roof can accommodate up to 150 lbs of luggage or other items, while the static load of the roof is up to 600 lbs, which is perfect for installing a tent designed for this purpose. To compensate for any type of environment. the 2022 Bronco Sport has wheel arch moldings and bed panels to help keep a distance from the rough ground and its body. On the Badlands version, metal plates protect the underbody of the vehicle, for added protection.
The 2022 Bronco Sport is the most faithful to the first model that appeared in the sixties. At first glance, we find all the details that make its identity: the huge grille separated in two by a bar, the large round headlights, the cubic shape. The FORD letterings of the grille have however given way to those of the model which must be printed in all memories. The Bronco is back, let it be known! To no longer have to decide as before, the SUV is offered in short and long wheelbases with 2 or 4 doors and to reduce the entry ticket into the Bronco Sport universe.
With its great success, the Bronco Sport has put
the Bronco of Ford name in first place. Sometimes playfully called the Baby
Bronco, the Bronco Sport is a compact off-road crossover based on the Ford
Escape. It is smaller and less off-road focused than the standard Bronco, and
uses independent rear suspension instead of the Bronco's dynamic truck-type
rear axle.
Since the Bronco Sport debuted for 2021, Ford has not announced any major updates for the 2022 model year. The Bronco Sport competes with other small SUVs including the Jeep Cherokee and Compass.
