A Subaru Outback is already an excellent choice for exploring our vast territory, like a fairly long list of utility or family vehicles for that matter. In short, for those who don't like to appear as outdoor enthusiasts behind the wheel of an extroverted vehicle like this Outback Wilderness, one of the six other versions of the raised wagon can easily play the same role as this sharper livery.
As the A4
is already selling well and recently got a cosmetic update, Audi could
certainly have left it that way until 2023, but the German automaker has
decided otherwise. The 2022 A4 is therefore entitled to new technologies and
even sees its power improved.
A luxury compact sedan, the Audi A4 is now in its fifth generation. It rivals the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In its 45 TFSI version, the 2-litre turbocharged engine develops 261 horsepower. It is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. As standard, it is equipped with the Quattro system. Also in the catalog are the A4 Allroad and the S4 sedan.
In addition to the S60 sedan, Volvo also includes the V60 in its range, a station wagon available in several versions. The more adventurous Cross-Country version, as well as the plug-in hybrid models, allow you to enjoy an extended range. The basic models receive the same motorization as the S60 as well as a traction train. All other versions come with all-wheel drive, from the T5 model up to the range-topping Polestar Engineered.
A luxury
midsize sedan, the A6 compares to the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
It is in its fifth generation. You should know that in addition to the A6
sedan, the catalog is also made up of the A6 Allroad, the S6 sedan and the RS 6
Avant. The latter impresses, among other things, with its 591 horsepower and
590 lb-ft turbocharged V8 engine.
Arriving late in the off-road station wagons, Mercedes quickly distinguished itself with a very successful E-Class All-Terrain. The principle is simple, it is quite simply the break version, revisited in an all-terrain version. At Mercedes, it is the name "All Terrain" that prevails: the brand with the star had already shown us an E-Class under the same name five years earlier, in 2016.
The V90 is
the station wagon version of the S90, the flagship that the Swedish
manufacturer unveiled at the beginning of the year at the Detroit Motor Show.
It is also the third model in the 90 series which represents Volvo's top of the
range.
Like the XC90 and the S90, the new V90 is based on the fully modular SPA (Scalable Product Architecture) platform. The result is a vehicle with a harmonious design that integrates its specific rear face well.
The rear of
the V90 is graced with L-shaped lights, inspired by the Concept Estate unveiled
two years ago in Geneva. A family station wagon specialist since the launch of
the Duett in 1953, Volvo has sold more than six million station wagons
worldwide since that year, around a third of the total number of vehicles sold
since its creation in 1927.
Volvo announces that the new V90 comes as standard with state-of-the-art partial autonomous driving technology with Semi-Autopilot, as well as the most sophisticated arsenal of safety systems on the market with Large Animal Detection or Trip-off-road protection, and class-leading connectivity that includes smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay.
For 2022, the changes made to the Panamera are minimal since the main novelty is the addition of Android Auto functionality. It must be said that it underwent great changes a year ago. Like the other vehicles in the Porsche range, the number of versions and engines is plethoric, including very powerful plug-in hybrid versions. We can also mention the Sport Turismo body, which allows the Panamera to occupy the luxury wagon segment.
With the
2022 GTS Sport Turismo, Porsche is adding another configuration to the Taycan
lineup, which until now consisted of a sedan and the Cross Turismo with raised
ground clearance.
It was at the Los Angeles Auto Show that Porsche made the world premiere unveiling of the new Taycan GTS sedan and the Taycan GTS Sport. A week later, we were able to take the wheel of the Taycan GTS sedan on the Willow Springs circuit, but also that of the GTS Sport Turismo on the splendid roads of California, in particular on the superb Angeles Crest Highway, a string of bends in the mountains, meandering for a hundred kilometers from Pasadena to Wrightwood.

Audi RS6 Avant
With 1000
horsepower under the hood, this Audi RS 6 is as powerful as a Bugatti Veyron.
In order to
create what is, perhaps, the most powerful and fastest Audi RS 6 Avant in the
world, two American tuners have teamed up, namely Pacific German and VF
Engineering. They managed to extract from the German station wagon the same
power as a Bugatti Veyron: 1,000 horsepower.
This break, which has become practically a supercar, benefits from several improvements allowing its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from 600 horsepower and 800 Nm to 1000 horsepower and 1050 Nm of torque.
