The 2022 Honda Accord is a car that is not too bulky, but offers great ride comfort and a fairly spacious interior for a small family. It's a car that offers a lot of cutting-edge technology, one of the highest safety ratings on the market and rock-solid reliability.
Certainly, with a base price of $35,135, the 2022 Honda Accord may not suit all budgets, but it's a relatively accessible car and most importantly, it gives us a lot for its value. Moreover, if you like to have a choice, you will be served with the sedan from the Japanese manufacturer since it offers one of the most complete ranges in its category. After the SE version, which acts as an entry-level model, there is the Sport version, which has a starting price of $36,735. Next come the EX-L and Touring versions with a base price of $38,335 and $41,635 respectively. Now, if you're looking for a sportier ride, we upgrade to the Sport 2.0 trim starting at $39,935 and for ultimate luxury and the best performance of the model there's the Touring 2.0 trim at $44,635. If you prefer the hybrid version of the 2022 Honda Accord, the latter is available in regular version starting at $38,985 and in Touring version starting at $45,685.
The 2022 Honda
Accord offers 3 mechanical options, starting with the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder
turbocharged engine that serves as entry-level mechanics. The latter boasts 192
horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque, which is more than enough for a car the
size of the Honda Accord. In addition, it is mated to a CVT box which does an
excellent job I must say. Next, we move on to performance mechanics. It is a
2.0 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, hence the 2.0 in the name of certain
versions of the Accord. This mill boasts a respectable 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft
of torque. Although I really like the CVT that accompanies the 1.5-liter
engine, I must say that the10-speed automatic transmission that is paired with
the 2.0-liter engine is frankly impressive.
You will therefore have understood that the 3rd mechanism found under the hood of the 2022 Honda Accord is a hybrid engine. This is the combination of a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor for a total combined power of 212 horsepower. In the end, this combination allows the sedan of the Japanese manufacturer to display an average consumption of 5.0L/100km in the city and 5.0L/100km on the highway in the basic version which is very impressive and which even makes one blush to many small cars.
The 2022 Honda
Accord offers a fairly interesting range of equipment and its technologies are
among the most advanced on the market, whether in terms of safety or autonomous
driving. Let's just say that the Japanese manufacturer has put the efforts in
the right places and it's a car that you get used to very quickly.
In terms of design, it's a success all the way, but that's to be expected since the Honda Accord has always been one of the prettiest cars of its time for every generation. Moreover, the design of the Accord is so appreciated by the community that it seems to inspire that of the new Civic of each generation.
When is all-wheel
drive? The infotainment system isn't particularly intuitive, although you get
used to it.
It is a
comfortable, reliable car, pleasant to drive and it is very spacious. The Honda
Accord strikes the perfect balance and is a car few people regret buying, and
with good reason. In short, I don't know what to tell you more than the fact
that this is a car that excels in everything it does, literally.
Honda has an excellent reputation, but if there is one model that shines in the middle of the brand it is the Accord. I know, the Civic is more popular, but you have to understand that the latter is also more affordable. The Accord is a more serious and sophisticated car and this sedan is capable of giving you all the reasons in the world not to buy a car but rather a SUV.
