Hyundai is one of the top Korean brands. It’s the most popular Korean car brand in the world. The headquarters of the large firm is in Seoul. The company produces more than one and a half million cars each year. Hyundai models are sold in 90 countries. Half the cars are produced outside the country.
Another well-known model is the famous Kia. Founded in 1940. Kia is now Hyundai’s subsidiary. Kia Motors started out by making bicycles, then cars of all kinds. Its seat is also in Seoul. Kia produces one million cars a year and sells them in 172 countries.
The secrets of Korean cars success:
Thanks to competitive prices and the tradition of quality, Korean models spread quickly. Lovers of the good quality/ price ratio, everyone buys them. The desire to innovate and improve the design and the product, with good customer service, are the secrets of their glory.
Daewoo was owned by GM in 1999. Founded in 1982, the company has changed its name to GM Korea and manufactures parts for Chevrolet and Holden. Renault Samsung Motors is 90% owned by Samsung and 10% by Renault. This brand is still in its infancy, but will soon see great days of success.
Korean brand cars:

1-Pyeonghwa Motors:

Pyeonghwa Motors is a joint venture between Ryonbong General Corp and Pyonghwa Motors in Seoul. The company operates under license from Brilliance China Auto and Fiat and specializes in the manufacture of small and compact cars, SUVs, and reliable pickup trucks. The company has exclusive rights to buy, sell, and produce cars in North Korea and has the production capacity of nearly 10,000 vehicles per year. However, the production of Pyeonghwa Motors is limited to 300 or 400 vehicles per year.

2-Alpheon:

Indeed, the brand Alpheon mask Buick LaCrosse. It is a medium-sized luxury car, which is produced by the American car manufacturer General Motors in 2004. This model appeared to replace the Century and Regal models from 2005.

3-Asia:

Asia Motor Industries is a popular automaker which has produced commercial and passenger vehicles. The company was first operated as a subsidiary of Kia Motors and introduced many cars, jeeps, SUVs, small, medium, and large buses and trucks. In 1973, the Korean government launched a project to promote the production of affordable, fuel-efficient vehicles. However, Asia Motors went into a huge loss, after which it was bought by the famous Kia Motors. In turn, Hyundai bought Kia, and the Asia Motors brand finally ended in 1999.
